Damien L. Butler

Damien L. Butler is the founder of Manifest One Empowerment Group an organization for and about developing successful young people. Raised with his brother and sister by a single mother, he knows and has overcome many of the challenges young people face today. Damien learned early on that he had a passion to help young people achieve goals and develop leadership skills.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Damien became a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves where he held several leadership roles. Through a career of serving others, Damien has gained valuable experience as a teacher, coach, leader and friend. He has two decades of military service, has taught in the public school system and higher education; coached recreation leagues up to the college level; lead Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan; and served as an Executive Officer at the Army Staff level.
He began his mentoring journey in 1994 with his high school alma mater AFJROTC program while serving in the US Air Force Honor Guard and has since worked with both high school and college young men and women. His love of teaching young people and his desire to help them succeed led to the founding of what is now Manifest One Empowerment Group. Damien has worked nationwide with like-minded organizations such as the Steve Harvey Mentor Program, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), South Carolina GEAR UP Program, Howard Community College, multiple youth leadership programs, the Boy Scouts of America, and various Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Programs.
Damien provides training and speaks regularly on goal setting, leadership, team building, and mentoring.
